GetResponse autresponser series indexed in Google?

Hi

I was searching for an IM product the other day- a small PLR tool with very few results.

One of the results was an email from some marketer's GetResponse autoresponder email series.

The link took me to a copy of his email at GetResponse with his affiliate links in place just as it was sent to his list.

The URL was something like getresponse.com/archives/<campaign-name>/<email-subject>

I don't use GetResponse so I'm not sure how it handles email campaigns. Is all email public and indexed in an archive like this, or is it a privacy/sharing setting when you create the series?

Having your autoresponder emails indexed and accessible to anyone in Google would give more exposure to your links, but might also expose information you don't want to share outside your list.

Anyone know how this works or use it?

I noticed the same thing the other day. GetResponse archive links popping up on all sorts of searches. I don't think I've seen them before, so maybe gremlins in the system! Not sure I'd want that for myself!

It's an option you can turn on or off in your campaign.

    Aweber offers the same thing.

I am new to email marketing and use Get Response. Will have to look into this and see if people have access to the archives. That is really weird. Thanks for the heads up!!
