A question for you successful bloggers

I can write articles all day everyday, but if it isn't doing anything should I try a new niche? They say most people don't take action, however I HAVE taken a ton of action with this site and so far hasn't seemed to pick up anywhere. What can I do to spice up and attract more visitors to my blog?

Other than ad-sense on the website what other things at my disposal can I use to advertise on the site? I'd also like to start a mailing list, but I don't know what I'd be sending to my subscribers.

I just need this little boost in advice from you guys to continue with my little adventure. I realize all of you successful bloggers are busy and don't advise just anyone, but I have to start somewhere and really really could use the extra help on this one.

    Your latest posts seem to have been written in August. And all of them seem to be curated news stories. You don't have anything on your author page except a generic gravatar.

    If I was to go to this site, I would assume that the author has stopped caring about it. I don't know that is the case, but it looks that way. If you want visitors to come and read your articles or click your ads, you need to make it obvious that electric cars are your passion. If they are not, try a different idea that you care a lot about.
