WARRIORS: Potential MAJOR glitch with Optimizepress

Hey guys,
I was watching my list grow today, then noticed that when Wordpress updated my site to 4.0.1 that all the submit buttons on opt in forms have disappeared.

Check your sites NOW if you are using Optimizepress and pause any advertising campaigns if you have to same issue.

I am sure whoever has the fault, wordpress or optimizepress will sort it very rapidly, but it is not nice seeing money go down the drain when stuff like this happens.

Thought I better spread the word!

One more note! The temp fix they offer is super easy and works a charm.

Make sure you aren't sending people to pages with no submit buttons!

    OMG just noticed that.

Why did WP automatically do an update?

This article seems to be pretty straightforward on how to disable auto updates.

Any of you guys having problems with API key? logged in this morning and getting all these messages about API key, optimizehub.com is down as well.

There seems to be a problem with your OptimizePress API Key. Please recheck it is entered correctly and if you still have problems, see this guide for help or contact support.
You are not eligible for new updates. You can prolong your subscription or disable this notification.
Recommended is to go to OP > dashboard and click save settings but get API key is invalid.

Recommend you check your OP. I've already raised a ticket about it.

Yes, I am. I even tried changing the key but still getting the same error message. I have also not been successful in fixing the issue with the opt in boxes and my site has been non functional for a week because of this. It's KILLING me here and their tech support is brutal. Still waiting to hear back from them. They've responded with info on how to apply the patch, and tried that and it has not worked. It says that I need to upgrade to 2.3.2.3 but within WP it just shows 2.3.1 as the newest version.

          So frustrated right now :S

No way to manually upgrade? Download the new OP files and upload them to your site?

Glad you shared this! You just potentially saved $1000s for some marketers. I integrated my lead pages with my OP membership sites a few months ago, so I had a lucky miss there.. thanks anyways!

Thanks for the "heads up". I personally find those WP auto updates annoying. Anyone know a way to disable them. I rather like doing my own updates.

See post #7 in this thread. Michael Shook posted a link which shows you how to do this.
