Hi everyone,

I'v got a small question if anyone would be so kind as to help me with it.

I'v just read in a product that i bought that when choosing a product to promote as an affiliate one of the criteria that that product has to meet is this:-

- High converting sales page.

My question I quess is, What would you consider a high converting sales page?

3%?, 6%??

Many thanx

    Hi...

Have you found the conversion rate of the sales page you are about to promote?

Well, I guess the bigger % is better. However, in my opinion, if its convert in 1:10, 1:20, that will be converting sales page.

I don't only look at conversion rate, I like to look at what I stand to
    earn/100 visitors I send...

If the offer is said to be converting at 5% but the commission is only $10
    I could theoretically earn $50 /100 visitors

On the other hand, if a product I earn $47/sale converts at 2%, I stand,
again theoretically, to earn $94 /100 visitors... almost double.

This is important to consider, especially when you are buying traffic!

    Regards, Pete

We have a product with an affiliate program. We provide information about the percentage in commissions earned by our affiliates and provide some examples of revenue that an affiliate could expect.

But we do not provide statistics such as conversion rate. Do you think we have to provide this kind of information in order to attract more affiliates?

Iv got a product that i think looks good and he sais his conversion rate is 6% so 6% of all his traffic to his sales page end up buying. The product is a paymonthly product priced at $29.95.

Is that a good would you say?

    That's really interesting :-)

I offer free trial too in CPA offers and it convert well.

On the other hand, if a product I earn $47/sale converts at 2%, I stand,

I agree Pete, I guess it is important to determine this too before deciding to promote.

If his traffic are 100 then he made 6 sales = $179.7, depend on how much he pay for the traffic it can be countable of profitable or not. If he spent around 0.50/click then the product is convert well, however you need to know exactly the adspend of this merchant, which is hard.

So try it and see your self and learn from it.

i think anything thats above 1% is good enough, but you would generally go for the higher percentage.
