  You could always do screenshots for slides and tie them together with a voiceover in movie maker for free. If you do a good enough job, maybe you will make enough to buy Camtasia.

Been using screen o matic for a very long time... I decided to pay their small 14$ premium fee so i would have unlimited recording hours and no branding.

  It has the "baisic" editing like for example.
  
  1. cut clip
  2. copy clip
  3. move clip
  4. remove mouse curser
  5. no sound editing feature.

  Seriously, it's $15 a year. Even if you just create one affiliate video for publication on Youtube, you're going to earn your money back. Very good editing tools with upgrade too.

I use screencast-o-matic as well and also paid for the upgrade. It's a fantastic program. You can do short (5 minutes) screencast videos with Jing Free as well but you have to edit in camtasia.

Camtasia is probably the best - but it's expensive. Active Presenter is a good, free alternative.

I recently downloaded AVS Video Editor as a "giveaway of the day". It comes with screen recording capability, and the editing seems quite advanced, but I haven't used it properly yet, so I can't really endorse it.

I have been using the CamStudio & Camtasia Studio for a long time. Both of these apps are free of cost. you can take look on these, if you want. There is no problem to use these. Have a test.

try quick time player out...i personally use it and in my opinion it's much more better and faster than other screensharing tools...

Hi SteveSilver,

you could try the quick time player.

For all of my videos i create - i've used and will use the quick time player.

You can click with the right mouse button on the icon and then select "New Screenshare".

That's pretty much the deal - cool in opinion...

Windows 7 has "Snipping Tool" which is cool and very easy to use. start menu, all programs, accessory give it a go easer then even using paint.
