Photos For Instagram?

Where do people get photos to post on Instagram? I mean, don't you need to purchase them from a site like iStockPhotos and secure model rights for those people in the photos?

    The bottom line is a lot of people are just "stealing" pictures from wherever they can get them Facebook, Google Images, etc.

    For those not stealing there are options to get free photos. See the post below for a good list of free site. One should look at the rights for the individual photos before using them to understand what is acceptable and not acceptable.

    There are also plenty of sites to buy photos and you have to read the rights on those as well and there are multiple levels of rights you can buy.

    So outside of stealing, the answer is it depends on rights tied to the photo which are typically list with the photo on the site is hosted on.

    The best place I see to get photos free is foter.com. You can also use google search, change to image then go to settings and change the license to free to share or use commercially.

    Freerange Stock
    The open photo project
    Stock.XCHNG
    Imagebase
    Stackvault.net
    Unprofound
    Morguefile
    You can simply use these photos to share on Instagram.

    My free photo go to website is sxc.hu.
    Or I do a google search for photos that have rights to use for commercial purposes.
    You can even take your own photos and use them.
