niche site or multi niche advice needed

Some advice please

Ive recently been working pretty hard on revamping my personal blog (multi niche).

In the new year i want to start getting back in to a sport i really enjoy but have not done for a few years now. I know there is money to be made from this niche because a friend is making a few quid from a website she runs.

She actually runs two websites, one is a personal site which follows her through the sport and the second is a niche specific one to the sport which id class as an authority site, with plenty of monetisation streams.

Id like to do something similar but am wondering if i could just build this new niche in to my already multi niche site or would i be best creating a niche dedicated site?

The last thing i want is to run multiple sites when i can combine everything in to one making top quality content on an already WELL established site.

All thoughts appreciated.

    Create a new site. Multi niche sites are for hobbyists? Do you want a business or a hobby? Straightforward isn't it? You want a business so create one site for one niche and another for another niche. Putting them on one site will never earn you a bean.

      To add to this.. multi niche sites attract hobbiest..

      If you want buyers you want to attract people that are serious about this sport and are willing to pay money, not just browse as a hobby.

    It is better you create a new website related to your niche.
