Which page i need to concentrate?

Example Domain and Example Domain we have same meta tags for both urls which i have mentioned .i thought it will be affect the keyword position ,y because both url contains the same content google may be confused which url will going to suitable like that .Please help me whether my thought is right or wrong?What i have to do?

    Google came up with a solution to this called canonical URLs.

    Basically there is a way to signal the search engine which page you prefer them to use.

    The same meta description/keyword on multiple pages doesn't matter. Page <title> has to be unique but that's not a meta tag.

          Thanks yukon.

          Like that only available in my site .Different Url (home page and index.html )contains the same details as well as same title .I am sure it will affect my seo ,for that i have desired to give rel="canonical" in my source code is this right decsion?

    I would suggest to do 301 redirection for index page, since both has same content. Also you can use canonicalization for one main URL. Then Google will consider the other page as canonical form of the main URL, but not as duplicate. If you have two different URLs with same content, it will hurt SEO.
