What should you do after your prospects give you contact information for lead magnet?

Specifically the report itself, not the autoresponder, or the headline/landing page copy that gets the opt-in in the first place.

I have a cheatsheet on a specific topic.
It's not branded, and not entirely sure what I should put as the CTA.

In this situation, is the branding important to make the report look professional?
What about the CTA? How would you normally deal with this section?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I think branding is important ... others may not. It depends upon your funnel and the reason for the sign-up in the first place.

Hopefully, the freebie you're giving away is relevant to your niche and what you eventually plan to sell.

All your communications and products should carry your logo, a consistent "look and feel" and the brand that you're trying to sell.

Hopefully you've put a nice cover on your cheat sheet that carries the branding as well as the landing page that you're going to be referring prospects to when they sign up for their subscription.

The CTA could be anything - but no one can tell you what's going to work best since we don't know your niche, your funnel, your products etc. That is a decision that you alone are going to have to make.

Most marketers would offer a low priced product after the initial email sign up. That product should give the customer a taste of your high quality offerings and it should be closely aligned with your niche.

Also, you might think about another free product with the idea that you're going to give the subscriber lots of valuable information in between your paid offerings. It all depends upon your strategy and what other products you plan to sell.

All these considerations should be made in advance so that your funnel works well from the get go. And of course, testing is always appropriate to make sure you're getting the maximum response possible before you roll out the marketing campaign.

    Good luck to you,
