What software can I use to create powerpoint type videos on youtube?

I'd like to walk viewers through a powerpoint presentation while talking to the viewers. How can this be done without having to edit the video?

I don't own a MAC, I have a PC.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Create the slideshow in powerpoint. Save it as an MP4. To do this you'll need PP 2010 or 2013. Record your voiceover in Audacity. Then sync the voiceover to the presentation in Windows Movie Maker.

I think OP means animated presentations Powerpoint video.

First you need animated Powerpoint slide, then you need to edit it and use Xilisoft Powerpoint to video software to convert to a video then upload it to Youtube

I've been using active presenter for screen recording. It's free and has a lot of functionality. http://atomisystems.com/activepresenter/

Get a professional voice over for your next audio or video project at an affordable price -- I will record 150 words of text for just $5.

Snag-it is way cheaper that Camtasia...but has far fewer features. They both have a free trial without Credit Card anyway.

    Good Luck.

I usually create videos on powerpoint 2013 with all the animations and transitions than I record my trainings via camstudio and operating the slides manually by clicking. Thats the best way i think and you should check that.

I use Open Broadcasting Software for any recording I need to do. It's flexible and free, I generally just setup a monitor capture, and for power point just enter presenter mode and start recording.

Yeah, basic windows movie maker works absolutely fine for this. I've done it dozens of times.

Camtasia or Screencast O Matic are good options, personally I use Camtasia as it's really easy to use and easy to pick up.
