What sort of software, app, or WP plugin do you NEED?

Hey!

As the title suggests, I want to know what kind of software, apps, or WP plugins you either can't live without, or really really wish existed - or even something you use regularly that you think could be improved in some form of another.

I won't lie, I'm making this thread primarily to give myself some direction for future projects; BUT, I think it will be an interesting discussion none the less.

Even if you can't think of a specific software or plugin, are there any hurdles you struggle with on a regular basis in your work that could be made easier with a tool of some kind? What sort of things would you like to automate to an extend?

    Honestly, I LOVE all in one SEO pack. I think some good plugins the internet marketing community could use our some content syndication plugins where we don't have to manually add Web 2.0, Social bookmarks, and wiki links.

    Great post.

    I say great post because I've often seen some amazing software developed by doing this on webmaster boards: engaging your audience.

    (It's also a good way to learn methods; but having read your other posts, I know that isn't your style.)

    I'm unable to say what I actually want because I have some clever folks who do what I can't and develop for me.

    But, not wishing to be totally lame . . . let's see if I can think of anything off the bat.

    Well...

    I know a lot of folks who need a decent PBN creator. Not me, though.

    Thinking...

    (Mentally leafing through systems I don't mind sharing that could be automated.)

    Okay . . . got one.

    WP Plugin Maker

    Even possible? A software app so even a coding neophyte like myself can make WP plugins to sell. I doubt it's possible, but hey, worth a mention. If you make it, I'll buy it!

    A good css plugin. LOTs of people having problem with
    editing css. One that can read the css and create a nice
    simple admin panel

    Just realising I'm going to have to re-familiarize myself with Wordpress and what's currently out there... it's been a while.

    GRM - it's funny, just the other day I was pondering the possibility of a plugin creator! Not really sure if it's possible, I'm sure in some limited format it would be. But if you're willing to buy it, I'm sure others would be too - definitely going to look into it .

      I'd definitely buy it.

      For folks in my line of business, it's all about adding value to our membership areas. If I could offer free plugins, I'd buy a plugin creator in a New York minute.

      Its possible and it has already been done, (though its still in beta)

      (naturally its not as complete as you would want) for a number of reasons however the one thing that seems most interesting is likely a method of a step by step plan showing how you create the hooks and installation scripting. (just a start but definitly of interest)

    I would say definitely get 'Pretty Link Lite'. You will always need redirects and tracking is crucial.

    Install 'Wordfence' or 'BPS Security' because I get so many hacker attacks on my WP sites I would not be able to sleep without them.

    One IP that attacks one of my block was blocked by Wordfence more the 200.000 times! Unbelievable that they still continue to try it.

    And I really like WP ProfitBuilder for creating LandingPages. Not as good as LeadPages but more flexible and way cheaper (if you got not grandfathered in the low low prices on LeadPages).

    The SEO stuff is sometimes done quite fine by themes but otherwise the Yoast SEO plugin is quite nice.
