Promoting Amazon listings through Pinterest

Hi Everyone,

I've heard/read somewhere that you can't use Pinterest to link to Amazon listings. Is this true and if so how do I get around it?

The products I've got listed on Amazon are my own and not sold by anybody else so I'm not technically affiliate marketing.

Also I'd love to hear any ideas to drive traffic to my Amazon listings (I don't have the cash to get my own good website made just yet) and also how to find people who would like to have an affiliate link market to my Amazon listings.

Are you adding your money making "keywords" to your Amazon listings? You have two obvious, and potentially huge traffic opportunities.

First, searches on Amazon. Second, searches on Google - which likes to rank Amazon product pages reasonably well without much backlinking.

Both are aided by having words in your listing that people will be searching for, so they are picked up by Amazon and Google.

Thanks for the advice, I am using the best keywords and so Google will pick it quite quickly.

I have shed loads of social media experience and can build a targeted Pinterest following quickly, which is why I asked the original question.

You can't use affiliate links. But you can use a non-affiliate link, which is all you need since it is your own product.
