Why doesn't warrior forum have other payment methods?

Why just Paypal.. Before they used to have stripe for when you'd launch a product.

What happened to that?

Warrior Forum has no such restriction.

Warrior Payments uses Paypal as their payment processor, but Warrior Payments is not the only way to create offers on the Warrior Forum.

An offer can be created (i.e. a WSO) using :
    1. Warrior Payments
    2. Warrior Plus
    3. JVZoo
    4. Rapid Action Profits
    5. Clickbank
    6. Paypal
    7. Stripe
    8. just about any merchant account
    9. who knows what else

It's the merchant's choice and doesn't require much more than simply placing the appropriate order link/button in the offer.

For many (not all) of the above options, Paypal has been offered as the payment processor because
    1. They provide multiple payment methods (Paypal account balance, credit card, debit card, or eCheck),
    2. the buyer is free to select which of those payment methods they prefer to use, and
    3. they implement significant fraud protection for the seller

The first four order management systems (for want of a better description) all use Paypal as their payment processor for the reasons given in the previous paragraph, but also because Paypal has some unique features that allow the order management system to easily manage affiliate commissions (instant commissions, in particular), and because the vast majority of potential affiliates already have a Paypal account.

    Sid,

I believe the OP is referring to what the forum accepts as payment methods when bumping WSO's, buying banner ads, etc.

Perhaps, but the same thing applies, does it not?

When they pay for the bump, they can select the payment method (i.e. PP account balance, credit card, debit card, etc.) can't they?

Nope. As he cirrectly stated the only option when paying for a service the forum provides is Paypal -- nothing else. In the past they had other methods but the new owners removed them.

Paypal accepts credit and debit cards unless something has changed that I'm not aware of.
