Hello folks,

We are about to launch a product next december but I have some questions.

We are used to launch products on ClickBank, however, this is our first time on JVZoo, thus, we have got some questions.

We would like people to promote our product before the launch date (December 10th), however, we don't want to sell anything before launching.

Question 1: How do we allow our affiliates to request their affiliate link while the product is not yet ready to be sold? (As far as I know, a product that is not yet accepting sales cannot be approved, thus, cannot be promoted. Right?)

Question 2: We would like to be listed on the launch list, however, we see that there are products on the launch list that already have sales. What is the launch list for and is it a good idea to be there?

Thank you very much.

  • There are so many people here who have used JVZOO, and I personally haven't used it on my own except for a joint venture WSO.

Although I know some of these questions can easily be answered through their support desk

    1) After you create the product in JVZoo, on your seller dashboard under the product there will be a link that says "affiliate details page": 2014-11-26_1649 - MarkHess's library

Give that link to affiliates and they will be able to get their links...

Make sure you have the funnel setup properly where all the products are tied together in a funnel so affiliates get proper credit.

    2) I have no idea, I've never used or even referred to JVZoo's internal launch list. I'm assuming the product needs to be "active" where at least you have the "allow sales" button set to yes in order to be listed.

    1. As Mark said, you can allow affiliates before the product launches, if people click the affiliate link before launch you can set the pre-launch page as your jv page, and it switches automatically to the sales page the moment your product is live.

    2. As soon as you create your product and you allow it to be shown in the marketplace, it will appear as in "pre-launch". If you see sales for products that's because they sell a product they already sold before in their funnel. This could be an upsell for a membership site for instance.

    Hope that helps!

    Landisama,

Good question.....thought provoking. Don't forget about "JV Notifiy" as a tool.
