Can I Sell This Site?

I bought a domain to promote an affiliate product, and I am just simply forwarding the domain to the products sales page. So far in just over a month I have made $660+ in commissions.

What I was wondering is, is there a market to flip this forwarded domain for a profit.

I wasn't sure if anyone would buy the domain by itself, so I was thinking of building a blog with 5-10 articles associated with the product, and sell the domain and the blog in a package.


Can anyone tell me if this can be flipped? Thanks so much guys I look forward to your answers!!

    put that site on auto pilot and keep it IMO. There is plenty of posts and WSO about getting set up on auto pilot. Myself i would never sell residual income.

    Personally I'd like to know which product you are promoting... from my experience I would NEVER expect a payout on such a site...

    I know everyone says that a good product converts around 1% but I've had too many products where I've sent 250 good visitors and had ZERO sales...

    In fact I'm going to start losing the $67 I have in my CB account if I don't get some more sales soon!

    What are you doing to have success?? :confused:

    Anyone who has any good ideas... would LOVE to hear them

    Yah I wonder why you would sell a domain that is making a profit on autopilot? Those domains are the best. I guess its a misstype domain with a very similar name as the "real site"?

    Why would you want to sell something that is bringing in a healthy income like that? If it's a lot of maintenance maybe but if it's not I would keep it. Having said that, you likely would be able to sell if you could illustrate the income stream.

    yes any one can bye your site , if that site is giving residual income $600 every month, you have to show some more info about your site...

    Thanks for all your advice guys. Well really I was just looking for information because I know that websites with content get flipped very often, but I wasnt sure about forwarded domains. I wasn't sure if I would want to sell the site or not, because I know if I worked harder on the site I know the income will increase.

    On the other hand, i've never flipped a site before and I know people make good money doing this. So its kind of a dilema and, i wanted find out the options that I may have or not have. So you guys definitly give me something to think about.

    You'd really be selling all the marketing effort you put behind the domain name as opposed to a site.

    Putting content on it might help increase the value of the "site" but it could adversely effect your earnings.

    If I were you, I'd make the domain into a squeeze page, and presell the leads more which could easily increase your earnings. Then when its time to sell you have a site, with traffic, earnings, and a mailing list. People will pay top dollar for those types of packages.
