So I have started Web Hosting

Can any of you guys give me some pointers on getting traffic to my site? I had a look at adwords but the competition is high and costly. So I am humbly asking for some direction.

cheers everyone

Robert

    You might fix this first:
    99.9% Uptime GAURANTEE
It's a competitive industry. You may want to start with your local market. Try an ad in your local paper.

I agree with this. You also can try to use fb ads or bing ads, targeting local audience. These PPC can be an option for adwords.

      Hope this helps

Yeah get a proof reader or let someone else take care of the content on your site.

Perhaps you can offer WSO's / noob guides, where people need hosting to get started.

I also heard good things about Ezines / newsletters where you publish an ad or piece of content.

I think hard selling won't really work well there and PPC and such has too much competition so try to make it part of an upsell type of thing.

Give a great opening offer through Social Media or targeted Facebook ads and try and build customer loyalty.

Think long term and it will pay off.

Its one of the competitive industry which having a good content will not help. but if you can survive for years, maybe it will work because users today are often prompt to trust only those who are in the webhosting industry for years.

You might offer some coupon/discount for your new customers and try to bring to them the best service. They will return with more new customers
