Lazy People Frustrating Me!!

This is a rant post, so be prepared for some complaining....

Let me tell you what has gotten me so heated up. On another forum I frequent occasionally, I posted a nice detailed thread for people looking to get starting making money online by writing.

No links back to my site (no sigs allowed and didn't put any in post), no affiliate links or anything like that. I just enjoy the subject and thought I could help others make some money getting started.

Well not to say but I got hammered by a number of posters!!

"Cant make money by writing cheap articles", "Too much work for little payoff" , "Takes too much time", "Can't take the criticism" etc etc.

Lazy people full of excuses. I replied to a few to try and backup my points, provided some evidence and numbers to back my claims up but that same idiots flamed me again. Eventually I gave up.

Are people really that lazy, they cannot put in some work to get themselves started?? It's mind-boggling that people want everything handed to them. Now I know that writing articles on Fiverr, iWriter etc wont make you rich, but it will make you some spare cash, pay some bills, buy some useful WSO or something.

Just some people..... ahhhhhh!!

Does this lazy attitude really bug anyone else? I'm usually too busy to let this bother me but this time I got mad haha

Think it happens to everyone mate.

Some people in this industry are straight doubters. They don't have the confidence in themselves or the risk-taker gene inside of them.

Trying to convince them otherwise is like beating a dead horse.

You just leave the emotion at the door, don't take anything personally, and keep on walking.

Like John Lee Dumas of Entrepreneur on Fire would say, "get over it."

Just let it roll. Part of putting yourself out there on the web. Some people choose to spend their precious energy on very unproductive endeavors.

I know I should just let it wash over me and forget about it, but the 'something for nothing' crowd that is invading every forum and discussion group online is annoying.

A little work goes a long way. A lot of work will bring to to your desired destination.

It doesn't really bother me, there are a lot of lazy people around.

But then again, sometimes it's not just laziness that provokes these type of comments, sometimes it's just hope that there is a way to make some serious money without doing a thing. So if you're in that state of mind, you're not willing to take action to make money by putting in some real work.

Oh well push button slutions don't exist so perhaps it's just laziness after all...

Complaining and criticizing is always easier than trying. So you're
right, it is the lazier thing to do.

Unless someone else's laziness has a direct impact on the well-being of me and mine, I don't get mad and I don't get angry. I have twenty-four hours in a day just as they do, and I'm not about to waste mine by stewing over what they're not doing with theirs.

    Life's too short.

Concentrate on the action takers. You will be happier and make more money.

I'd rather have one action taker then 100 freebie seeking, "give me" slackers.

I find that laziness is directly linked to self esteem. Those who are prepared to work "on" themselves will have a better chance to make it and those who don't are usually full of excuses and become branded as lazy.
As much as mindset is probably an overused term it is clearly what these people lack and therefore when I come across this sort of negativity I tend move on and hopefully one day they will see who is actually looking at them in the mirror and make the changes necessary to be successful.
      Just my 2 cents worth

For every one of them, there are probably five (or more) others who were inspired and energized by what you shared - and will take your advice, start writing, and set themselves on a track to succeed.

Not now, but months or years later, a few will get in touch with you to say 'Thank you - you changed my life'.

That's your reward, your pay-off - for what you selflessly shared today.

How would I know this? From personal experience over quite a few years

...not directed at you ianeire, but it's interested how many in this forum complain about lazy people & attempt to label certain people , when those same accusers run wsos that create & encourage the environment for laziness.

Dealing with people who are called lazy, is a part of this business.

Don't let it frustrate you to the point of quitting. Keep on your grind and continue to strive for success.

Napoleon had a 4 quadrant diagram explaining his depth of knowledge of his soldiers. They were, intelligent, lazy, stupid and hardworking. His conviction was that the stupid but hard working ones were the most dangerous, but the lazy stupid ones, are to be left alone. The lazy intelligent were the most brilliant and were promoted and the hardworking intelligent ones were the majority and how he got things done

I often say "No good deed goes unpunished" This doesn't mean I think we shouldn't perform good deeds. It just means the cost of helping others will always be at least a little greater than we anticipated. It's so much easier if we understand that going in.

Internet Marketing is full of lazy people.

a lot people got into IM for the first time because they read those "MAKE $1 MILLION IN A DAY WITH 1 HOUR OF WORK PER WEEK" kind of ads. So there's no surprise if now they don't treat IM like a real business.

@eric w has a good point, and you can actually make money from those people

I'm all for discussion and have no issue with anyone disagreeing with me. You will, however, always have people who constantly knock everything without trying or putting any effort in. You can see from their posts they have a history of doing it.

That's all. Thanks for the reply though mate

I went to a seminar once were the speaker told us about his roommate. They were both really poor at the time and trying to find ways to make more money. The speaker decided to go to his first marketing seminar and invited his roommate.

The roommate basically said that it would be impossible to make money online and turned down the invitation. The speaker is now a well known marketer and has gone on to make around 8 million or so. He still talks to the old roommate and invites him to events that the speaker holds.

The old roommate still tells him the same thing and currently works as a security guard the same job he had while living with the speaker.

Some people will go on believing you can not make money online for the rest of their lives or think it's a scam. Some people just need more time to understand how it all works before they dive in. Some people just take to it like a fish in water.
