This is funny - aWeber blocked me for abuse as a subscriber (not customer)

This borders retardeness at all fronts.

I sign up for a newsletter, my email address is being sold/shared as all of a sudden I receive tons of emails from all kind of people.

I unsubscribe and report them as absusers.

Months later when I want to subscribe to something I receive the message that I have to use another email address due to abuse issue's LOL

This is literally the world upside down.

Those list owners can block your email address and so if they all
did then most likely Aweber gave your email a universal block.

I understand your logic, but you could understand Aweber's position
as well--if that's what has happened.

aWeber is simply looking after their own best interests. Their goal is to keep their clients happy.. but yes, I can understand how annoying this could potentially be. very odd..

Yep Aweber has to protect it's clients from a serial "abuser" like me

End result is that I use a spam email now that I purely use in case I'd like to check out some free guide, how valuable is that for their clients....

Cause they send me all kind of unsollicited spam, I know who I gave my email address, and it wasn't coming from that person so anyone else sending something will be unsubscribed and reported for spam.

I chose to ignore it as it was kind of lame.

It would have been very funny if nik0 had mis-spelt 'serial' as 'cereal'... but he didn't.

Dude just use another email address. Or if it's a gmail account, put a dot somewhere in the email addy.

The same thing happened to me with Constant Contact about 10 years ago.

I complained about people spamming me with their service, and instead of kicking off the spammers they put me on a list of people who could not receive newsletters from Constant Contact.

It's a short-sighted view of who the real troublemaker is.
