Default Sale Page Copy Writer Wanted

Hey guys
I'm looking for a talented writer that can produce a bunch of sales letters for a range of info products and websites. I've personally purchased and read alot of sales copy courses, but I find the task tedious and simply have too many projects going that I would rather outsource.

If you understand the science of good sales letters and have worked on website sales pages for information products please get in touch with me. I have 6 or 7 jobs ready to go now and can provide another 4 or 5 each month.

PM me with any questions or offers.
Thanks

Nicholas,

There are probably a few good deals on copywriting in the WSO or Warriors For Hire Forums.

If you don't find what you're looking for, PM me or shoot me an email here.

Warmest Regards,
Marcus

thanks guys. I've had a number of people contact me, all within the same price range except one.

I'm going to proceed with hiring 2 different people, and use the project as a test because there is alot of criticism of using 'low cost' writers for sales copy, but I think there would be just as much incidence of people using overpriced copy writers and not seeing a reasonable return.

Doug made a good point though, that if my product pricing level doesnt justify paying $2000 for a sales letter then perhaps I'm targetting the wrong types of products. This is a very valuable piece of insight in my opinion! So rather than developing 4 new products that cost $250 each, I should be spending my time and resources on producing 1 product that is priced at over $1000.

Thoughts anyone??

Sounds like a solid plan - if your $1000 product is targeted to a market that will pay, making 1 sale x $1000 will be as easy as making 1 sale x $250.

Always test - you could make a less-involved version of your product and
sell for less - people prefer to be in the elite crew if they can afford it
so when you offer upgrades you'll be surprised at the price-leaps you
can ask for... and get.

Many of the most effective marketers have an entry-level product under
$20. This may seem absurd - but it builds a list of buyers if you do it well.

Dan Kennedy is one of the better examples. His books funnel buyers through
incremental upgrades.

I've made a lot of money selling big-ticket products so I won't tell you there's
no money in it. Depending on your market you'll have to contend with
competitors, so your product should be carefully positioned. Since you are
in AU you should have no problem locating Geoff Ayling's mindblowing book
"Rapid Response Advertising" - aside from a couple of the classics it's the
best thing I've ever read on the subject.

There's a lot to it. Without knowing your niche and positioning plans within
it I couldn't even begin to tell you what the right price point would be.

$1000 is a chunk to many people - not the affluent but if you are doing
a "make money" product count on most of your prospects being near-broke -
a situation that may change, but if you give them no opportunity
for friendship with your company, you'll lose them, mostly forever.

Some of the big-shots give-away a lot of value, typically using meticulously
prepared video, and then charge 2K and up for their courses. It's a
workable strategy if you have other people (affiliates) doing the advertising
for you.

Your product price may or may not make a difference.

In many cases it doesn't.

In other words at the lower price you sell more and at the higher price you sell less...the total number of sales from a list can be amazingly similar with some exceptions.

What you really need to think through is what a copywriter is worth to you.

One basic exercise you can do.

Ask yourself how much in extra profits you would make over 1 month, 3 months and over 6 months if your sales letter pulled in twice the number of sales (that's often the difference in response between an amateur writing copy and a reasonably skilled professional...twice the response).

The amount you'll want to budget for a copywriter will be somewhere around that 1-6 month potential increase in profits.

If it comes out at less than $1,000 to $2,000 you have real marketing problems you need to address first.

And if you're in the $5,000 to $10,000+ range you should be hiring the best copywriter you can find almost regardless of the price they charge.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh
