How To Value My Website?

How do I value a website that gets a lot of traffic but doesn't make a lot of $? Is the traffic worth anything?

The site has received around 73,000 visitors/year in free organic traffic and affiliate traffic (all on autopilot, no promotion at all this year)

It earns around $200/mo from the traffic / $2400/yr. Couple years ago when I was actively working on it, it was making close to $2500/mo and 200k visitors/yr

You could get about $1200-1500 realistically if you sold it on flippa.

He is right on.. the formula that is well known is:

      Revenue X 6 Months = Value

Depending on the niche or expected future revenue, that could be the game changer. Make sure you can prove your revenue for the past year.

Hmmm... Great idea with flippa but I would start working on it again if you were making that much before & still have that kind of traffic going to it. Could be 10 times more in a year, you know

I think you could get $2k if your main traffic is organic, it's 10 times your earning per month. But your earning is coming from Adsense or affiliate sale?

The value of something is what you can get someone to pay for it.

There are plenty of mugs on Flippa who will pay stupid money if you word the sales page right.

The multiple of 6 months income is about right but it does depend on the niche, the cost of keywords and to a small extent the potential.

My advice would be to do what it takes to get the money up, then sell it.
