Where can I find someone who is affordable that can make a 4 min instructional video that will record their screen and give instructions on how to use my software? Any online company or service you can recommend with a fast turnaround?

    In that budget, you can easily get someone good on either oDesk, Freelancer, Elance. I usually work with people on oDesk so I recommend you look there.

    Check out previous reviews, you may stumble upon someone good.

      Most of the people on there have very strong Indian accents which won't work with my video. They must have an American accent, Australian accent or British accent

    there are plenty of voice artists on fiverr just use fiverr they are all very good.

      Can I narrow my search on Fiverr where I find people who can do instructional videos while recording there screens? Maybe there is a category other than voiceover I should be looking for on Fiverr?

    Hi Dave - is the 90210 your zip code? - Bev Hills, right? I had an office in 90210.

    I've done lots of videos - I did this one for $150: http://goo.gl/BhVqle It's no award winner, but it demos the product. This was for a Kickstarter campaign.

    Couppla ideas:

    a) Don't use folks offshore - too hard to explain nuances
    b) 90210 - lots of talent in the area - I would suggest finding a semi-pro on Craigslist to make you up a storyboard and script and find an editor (you don't need a 'producer) in the area to put it together.
    c) If you need a spokesperson, music bg (background), titling, vo (voice over), sfx (special effects) you'll probably need to spend $300 - $400.
    d) What about whiteboard animation? You can probably get that done on Fiverr, but I'd be careful of video production - lotsa amateurs on Fiverr.
