What you can learn from musicians about how to market anything !

I notice a lot of warriors or marketers is having trouble with sales, email sign ups, and just overall getting there message heard. I have a few solutions for you. First off you might just be plain up boring?

One thing you can learn from musician is they command attention. The best musician gets all the publicity and attention because simply put there put in front of raving audiences ? Read that last line again. Seriously because no matter what you have. If you don’t have an audience then you have nobody to talk to

No audience, no big idea right?

Its a very big deal. With out any audience how do you plan on selling anything to anyone. There will be no one around to even hear your message or anything you have to say. There will be no sharing of your information. There will be no sign up to your news letters. There will be no sales to keep you in business.

If you truly want to separate yourself from all the other marketers, then learn how to build an audience. You will never have to worry about traffic or the sharing of your information. We are content providers in one way or another.

What does a musician has to do with this?

Everything and I bet you know why already, if not keep reading. The thing about musicians are they only sell when they have a audience that takes years to build properly. Its the same in this business. If you have anything that people need you first have to reach that audience. Music cuts through every audience of every crowd. Everybody like music in whatever genre they choose.

That’s why the real good musicians make the most money and through out there career they keep making money from there publishing. Which are always paid quarterly. So be like a musician. Build your audience first then start to sell.

Why I must end this here?

Sounds like a song title and I’m the lead singer. The point is build an audience. You cannot go wrong when you build up your audience. Either you go and do it for free or you will pay for it. But there’s one thing that’s for certain. You have to build a audience. Its all that much worth it.

I suspect there are some grammar issues as that sentence doesn't make sense to me.

The entire thing makes no sense to me. These raving audiences don't just appear from nowhere. The musician's reputation is built up slowly. Not every musician 'commands attention'. Not every internet marketer has a piano.

The house next door to us years ago had an instant big audience the day that it caught fire. It taught me nothing about internet marketing.

Most musicians are terrible marketers. That's why they have managers and agents.

        Exactly.

I am a musician and I know a lot of musicians, and what you're saying doesn't give a real picture.

        However...

The points you're trying to make are still valid, so that's what's important!

Best not to mention either the street busker who is yet to get his break and has one hungry eye on the pennies as they fall into the hat on the pavement in front of him.

I'm not saying you can't learn anything by watching the promotion of successful musicians. I'm no Michael Jackson fan but I can remember being fascinated by watching the promotional machine in action before what was meant to be his last tour (and I can remember vividly clicking on a 'Michael Jackson: Breaking News' news link to see what the next attention-garnering trick would be and thinking 'Well that's a bit extreme!'). There are little gems to be picked up from watching the promotion of successful musicians, but you could say that about successful 'anybodys' and might just as well.

'Musicians' though, no. It's what the people who are running the show for those who have made it are doing that might be worth watching.
