Questions about growing an already succesful authority site

I've got a news site in a specific niche that has been doing very well. I get a lot of traffic and am making good money from it. But it is very time consuming and it is not my only online business.
So, I've been trying to find more info on how to outsource or find partners for this authority site.
- If I hire full time professional writers, what is the going rate? Do you also offer them a percentage? (I'm not talking about iwriter authors or outsourcing to philipines, that type of quality just won't do for my site)

- What if I try to find one or more people to become more than a writer but an actual partner, so they are more invested in the project? Would that be a good idea? And if so, where can I find more info on how to negotiate such deals (percentages etc)

Thank you!

I was in the same boat as you.

I hired LongerDays.com and they are amazing. They pretty much run my main authority site including all social media. They cost more than average, but they know what they're doing and I just supervise.

I pay wages only. I would not offer a percentage of site profits or my company for content because that would cost far more in the long run, plus it's more accounting hassles.

Are you looking for only high-quality content or are you looking for some quantity, filler content as well?

I'm only looking for high quality written content. And possibly someone to do videos, so someone who is well spoken, outgoing and has a good 'vibe'. And this person would definitely have to be passionate about my niche.
I would be willing to partner up with someone if they come with a network or an audience in the same niche as me.
That's why I'm interested in learning more about rates and percentages.
