Whats your most awesome reason to work online?

For me, its the following:

1. Ability to generate passive income streams.

2. Ability to work from anywhere.

3. Ability to earn 24x7, no matter what I am doing.

4. It suits for introverts like me more haha

    1. Freedom to work when I want, where I want

    2. Learning and really enjoying in it

    3. I can work alone. Not very keen on working with lot's of people, more a lonely wolf .

I've never liked working for other people, being told what to do even if it doesn't make sense, and working hard to put money in someone else's pocket.

I used to run a manufacturing business but that really is a lot of stress, so eventually I was happy to sell it to someone who could cope with that!

So working online allows me to run a business from anywhere in the world I like to live. At the moment I shuttle between the UK and HK as I feel like it, doing what I want, when I want and helping other people who want to achieve a similar lifestyle.

    Can't think of anything better!

      Tell me about it, JPaston.

I have about 3 years manufacturing experience now, and sometimes I do consider if my HEALTH is worth my nice salary.

Not to mention, the company I work for is in a period of huge production demands off the tail of President Obama actually signing an executive order requiring companies to transition to using the product we produce. The ensuing was a situation every manufacturing company would LOVE to see themselves in, however, the toll on production floor employees, and supervisors, has meant working just about every weekends.

Days off only seem to come around when one submits a vacation or sick/personal day request.

I'm finding myself at that point with my business where it produces just enough that I am seriously considering walking a way.

It takes alot of guts to do that...especially when your own earnings don't quite surpass that of your salary.

Being in a position like that really teaches you just how much you actually believe in yourself.

Honestly, like you, I'm just getting very tired of working for someone else.

It doesn't lend very well to my personality.

Remember that if you can generate a good amount of income along with your job, then after quitting the job you can use all that time to generate even more money compared to job.

And life is too short to work hard, so go for it once you ready! Good luck!

Not that complicated...more people are buying online, that's where you need to reach them if you want to do business.

Questions like this make me a little queasy - the desire that should fuel you is to start and grow your own business, growing at least part of that business online is necessary, but please don't forget that you are building a business, not just working online

FREEDOM. I can be anywhere in the world and as long as I have internet access I am in business, I was able to be at all my daughters events when she was growing up, able to help support my parents with this income.

Yes it takes work but anything worth while does and in the long run this is so much worth it.

I got into online business years ago, but then I hated it. Like a lot of people, I was into 'blackhat' SEO. Creating my own low quality website, giving them tons of backlinks to reach top of Google SERP and waiting for the next Google update to destroy all my work.

But then about 2 years ago I realized how useless it is to work that way. Blaming Google for my dirty work. I realized how useless my websites were, they wasted people's time and they don't have any value to other than search engines.

After that I decided to work online the ethical way. Creating my own awesome products, services, and websites. Giving people who subscribed to my email list a real value instead of spamming them with affiliate product everyday.

I made less money now than 1-2 years ago, but I'm a lot happier now, getting positive feedbacks from people how useful my information, my products. I don't want 'passive' income, because I want to work and I love it. That is the reason why I work online now.

For people who want to achieve passive income by working online, don't. If you love your work, money will come and you won't want to become passive.

Traffic in LA sucks, but not when your office is next door to your bedroom.
When I want a break, I take it, when I want to call it a day and go for a ride on one of my Harley's, I go!

If you spend 8 hours a day working in an office, you spend 30 mins getting there, you're looking at 10 hours of your day with getting ready in the morning and your commute, screw that!

I am too old to finish college, I always wanted to work from home and be my own boss. Finding ways to make money online is challenging and exciting. Last but not least my regular job involves a lot of traveling and patience and I think its time to move on.

The best part of working online is not having to deal with employees or people on a daily basis, unless I want too!

To work in my underwear and eat pizza all day!

Seriously though...I actually get a lot more accomplished if I dress up for work. Or at least put on some pants.

    1. Be your own Boss
    2. Freedom to work when I want, where I want
    3. Learning and really enjoying in it
    4. Passive Income
    5. No corporate ladder (I hate the fact that the people working the most are earning the least)

I guess we are all here for similar reasons, we want more of life than just going to a building everyday for about 40 years and then been able to retire.. Now I'm not saying this is bad! it's just not what I want and most likely many agree with me.

One thing I forgot to mention is the fact that my earnings depend on me. I give myself raises based off my performance. No need to rely on someone else to bump my pay up.

Funny so many of you said because you can work alone I guess many of us are introverts/loners and happy to know I'm not the only one.

For me, I also love it because I can work from anywhere, any time I want to. I love working from home (though I rarely work in my PJs - find I'm not as productive as when I am dressed and at my desk in my home office). I can set my own hours, take breaks to play with the dogs and cats, read, meditate, and do the occasional gaming break

Also, I can work as many years as I want to. I always thought retirement would be boring - I don't think I'll ever retire (I may eventually sell some of my stores and slow down a bit, but retire - nope!)

Not losing time on transporttion is a good one.

Spending more time with my loved one is another one.

Working and taking a quick dive in the pool in between is quite refreshing.

No non smoking policies help as well.

And on top not having someone tell me what to do and when to do it.

Oh and it allows me to make a lot more money then just working for a boss.

That's an easy one - FREEDOM! I don't need to take orders from a boss who's an a****** and I don't respect and more importantly, I'm in control of my own destiny. It can be lonely at times, but who cares about that
