Just finished uni, looking for a mentor [mini CV included]

Hey guys,

I finished university very recently, graduation on the 24th.

What this means, is that I've got a bit of free time. And in the month or so before my money runs out completely, I am going to try some IM projects, and see if I can't make a real, honest go of this.

Now you know my circumstances, know that I am fairly serious. Here's a mini-CV.

When I was 17 I set up a real (ie. non-IM) internet business, buying and selling goods in a virtual world... that did really quite well, but I got hit badly by crooks and had to quit it a couple years ago.

Since then I have been focussed more on my degree, but I did make RPGPrice.com - Compare ALL gold, levelling, accounts & game prices from ALL MMOs! , a price comparison website which does really quite well based (genuinely) on one KICK ASS day of promotion in Feb. last year.

More recently, I've tried to get into the standard more information marketing based model. This week I set up The Attraction Adventure and ran some Facebook PPC adverts, but the stats weren't quite good enough.

I tell you all this... because I would really appreciate it if you could be a mentor to me. I am only talking about exchanging a few emails I guess or talking on the phone etc.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any specific questions - I deal mostly with affiliate sales in the non-IM market but I also have a few IM related products that I sell.

I agree with Pete above. Be a part of this wonderful community by asking relevant questions. No matter how noob you might be when it comes to IM there will always be people here to help. Your Small CV does shows that you have some business sense and hence you're almost sure to grasp things quickly. Good Luck!
