trademark and unused domain - possible to make some use out of it / domain park?

If you have accidentally registered a trademark domain, what is not allow?
are you not allow to put any content on it , even a squeeze page or ads on it is not allowed?
How about redirecting it to another website or domain park it?

is it possible to make some money with these domain in a legal way? like domain park for ads income or any others?

Hmm.. interesting.. Is the trademark still exists? If so, I believe the trademark owner can still claim back the domain because he is the trademark owner.. Not sure on this, maybe you need to consult a legal professional.

The best answer you're likely to get is that it depends on a multitude of factors and that you seek out competent legal counsel to discuss your specific case.

One thing to consider is that not all trademarks are created equal. In some cases it's perfectly acceptable for companies to have the same or very similar names as long as there isn't likely to be consumer confusion caused by the similarity of the names (e.g., Lenox crystal and Lennox air conditioners). In other cases, the exact same thing would be a big no no (e.g., try naming any business "Coca-Cola" and see how fast you'd get sued).

Another big question is how deep are your pockets and how deep are the pockets of the mark holder. Even if you're technically legally allowed to use the mark, defending your use of a mark in court can cost tens of thousands of dollars per month meaning that even if you win, you lose. Is this something you really want to risk?
