Hello, I want to add our customers to our mailing list. I thought I could do that easily with DlGuard and Aweber but Aweber forces double opt-in which we don't want. Now I am thinking that you could use a simple sequence like the one below:
The thing with Dlguard is that the download area is protected so during this process my customers will have to enter their names and emails twice which I think is dragg. However, I just can't think of anything better. We want our customers on our mailing list so this is not an option. Do you have any suggestions? How do you go about this? Thanks, The IWebGirl |

One possibility would take a little programming, but for a decent coder it shouldn't be too big of a deal... When your customers fill out their info the first time, set a cookie with the information. When they get to the second instance, retrieve the cookie and populate the form fields with the customer's information. You could even set later pages to check for the cookie and greet them by name when they arrive... Just a suggestion... |
