Monetize an art Blog

Hey all! I want to set up an art blog which features artworks from a large range of artists within a particular niche, and then set up a link to the artist's shop within each page. I ideally would like to set up something that gives me a pay-per-sale from artists that I can find and contact directly. Would anyone know what the bes way of going about that is?

    You could be a Zazzle affiliate, link to any artwork on Zazzle, sell it and you get 15% and the artist will automatically get their percentage from Zazzle. You can contact most of the arists directly through their Zazzle stores...

    The only problem I see with that would be if you are featuring artwork only on your blog because all the artwork is already available through Zazzle so what would be the value added content on your blog? Interviews, or...?

      Etsy is another really good source for finding artists to promote. Though maybe not as generous as Zazzle affiliate program.

    I have a similar setup (just not for art). WP+WooCommerce. This is all you need for this type of enterprise; since you won't be building the next Amazon. You can set it up to direct a portion of sales to the artist, a portion to you; furthermore, you can integrate an affiliate program: portion to artist, to you, to affiliate.
