Just when you are about to give up

You notice your efforts are slowly paying off.....

Anyone else notice this?

Any online business venture you start out strong, and than it seems things aren't working, until you get that first spike of traffic, and things start to take off.

Giving up is important as an Internet Marketer.

We always researching and testing anything from landing page, banner, design, headline, etc. When one of your split test sample is not giving you good result, give up quickly and create new ones before you're losing money.

It doesn't take results to not give up. It does take failures to succeed however. I have failed at many things while trying to make money online. I have also had a few successes. If you just keep trying and don't give up, with dedication, you can see success. Don't give up on your failures. Instead use them as your determination.

Totally agree Robert. I've been doing IM for about 15 years and, like you mentioned, have had successes but more failures along the way. The key is to never give up but I don't think a lot of people have that resilience. It almost seems like entrepreneurship has to be in your blood to keep you going through all the inevitable failures.

Well for most, they give up right before they're able to notice some results for their efforts.

The difference between success and failure, is not giving up.

If you're starting to see your efforts paying off then you have gotten much farther than most!

Not yet. : ) However I've read several times (from several sources including Think And Grow Rich) that the temptation to "quit" is greatest when you're about to succeed.

People giving up is because of different reasons. One of which might be that they could not get or see the results expected.

There is one phrase saying ' No failure, just feedback'. To me, it is really true. Prior to giving up, you might need to ask yourself what for you are living and working on. Is that something really matter to me? What I have done well and what I need to improve? Asking yourself these questions will help you to explore and remind on what is really serious about what you are working.

One of the bigget reason why we seek for immediate results is because we are fed up almost every seconds with "Make $XXX in 3 minutes" offers.

The things is there is no such thing as get rich quick. it's all about hard work and consistency. We are building a business here, and whether we like it or not, building a business will take a significant amount of TIME or MONEY.

      Good point.

Personally, I wouldn't want to "get rich quick." Why? Because I'd miss out on the satisfaction (and enjoyment) of investing my time, effort, and energy into building something of great value. : )

It's just such a motivation to keep going when you get results at the moment you want to quit...

I have been doing IM full time now for 3 months, have learned so much. Wanted to give up many times along the way but just as I am about to give up, I get a few new subscribers or make a sale or two. Luckily I can run back to my SEO skills to keep me going financially until I one day built a good enough "buyers" email list and come up with a "no brainer" product offer that converts!

I can look back and see my own journey ,and I think in many cases it does seem to work out like this.

Many times right when I wanted to chuck something that I believed in and worked hard for all of the sudden it started working. Kind of like a Resurrection of sorts

This, I think, is a lot of the problem with newbies.

Many who failed if they had waited another few weeks or months they would have realized Success.

As first newer give up. If you fall get out and go ahead..
For example, We're all afraid of failing,
maybe some people a little bit afraid, some people very, very afraid. But all of us have
        that fear.

The point is, everybody has fear and we must to learn to live with our fear.
You have to accept your fear to see it and recognize it.

The first step is to accept your fear... "Yes, I have fear and yes, I'm afraid of this."
        You have to be honest.

If you stop because of fear, your life will become boring and dead.

On the other hand if you do continue despite the fear you keep going. You keep pushing yourself, challenging yourself. Then you will improve feel alive and you will feel lot of energy. People will notice and they will see that you are living
your dream and trying to improve.

A lot of people work a job that they hate. They go every day to job, but they
never change this because of the fear. They're afraid to leave their comfortable zone.
Ok, some other people don't hate their job, but they don't love it. It's okay, and then day after day, week after week, year after year, same boring job. And they become more and more dead in their life. And unfortunately, I see that's probably the normal thing. I think most people do that.

It might take lot of time to start seeing results, but start trying to do it now. Keep working at it. Do it. Don't stop because of your fear. This is a never ending process. You never stop challenging yourself. You never stop pushing past fear. The fear will always be there.
There will always be something new, a bigger dream you want to try and the fear is
going to try to stop you and you always have to keep going. As long as you're alive, this
will happen. It never, ever stops.
You know when I leave my job to start my online business, I
was afraid. In fact I was terrified, very afraid. I was afraid I was going to fail. I was
afraid I would have no money. Be homeless, crazy fears. But I did it anyway. And I'm
very happy that I did because now I am very excited. I feel very alive. I love what I do.
I leave my dreams. But I'm not stopping.
Now I want to grow my business... I want to bring more people into this business and coaching them.

All of these give me more new fears. Oh my god, maybe I won't be very good at a coaching. And English is not my first language... I have to stand in front of people. Oh my god,
I'm afraid, right? The fears always come. But you just keep going anyway. I'm not
going to be stopped by those fears. I will continue. And you must continue as well.

So dream big, leave your comfortable zone and accept fear - leave on your own way and on your own terms.

I believe if you can figure out some way, anyway, to boost subscribers, increase optins, or increase sales and signups on even a small scale, all you need to do is ramp whatever is working "up".

That's exactly what I did awhile back when I was promoting a couple top Click Bank programs for the first time...Figure out how to make my first sale, then just build off that.

So true. But most people don't stay in it long enough after that 'giving up' feeling to see that first spark.

That's why you have to persist - because you are soooo much closer then you think.

Brian Tracy says that that average self-made millionaire goes broke 2.3 times.

Basically, if you are an entrepreneur you are guaranteed to go broke at some point.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this...
