When you write your articles, do you use Pen names (Aliases)?

I saw a remark recently about someone doing it with clickbank too... kinda wondering why - i.e., are they setting up actual businesses as their alias?

Just curious, and as to why you would? (Maybe I'm just out of the loop on that one LOL)

    Amber,

The reason to use pen names is because once someone becomes successful and their name gets known, every time they talk about a niche they're in, they'll have instant competition from their followers.

Also, some people, like ghostwriters, want to remain anonymous or don't want to be in the limelight. They're happy to remain underground. You'll find, or maybe not, that many marketers are using pen names. It's part of their success. If they get discovered in their niches, there's usually a flood of people because they're already successful and people want someone to follow.

Once they have some clickbank fame, a lot of people will continue using their names as a selling point for all future products. Success by association. Anyway, hope that clarifies things a little for you. Take care.

Thanks - makes sense Can you DO that with clickbank?? I always thought you were supposed to have only one account running at a time, but if you lose your username, they do tell you to set up a new account.

Totally true Marmo - I had a guy from Calif threaten me - ended up having to call the police about it. (It was several years ago) - but you're absolutely right.

And thanks Brian - definitely helped
