Help ! How Do I Find Out Financials on a Company in the US

Hi Guys,

Wonder if anyone here could be of any help. I am trying to find out the financial details of a company based in the U.S.

Here in the U.K all Limited companies must supply their financial records each year and they are publically viewable documents.

Is there any such thing in the U.S ?

    If it's a publicly traded company, their financials are available for free all over the place (ie. financial.yahoo.com). If it's a privately held company, you may not be able to get the info without paying for it. Dun & Bradstreet comes to mind as a source. Maybe someone else can give you more/better info.
