Hey all,

Just a quick question;

Recently I bought this premium domain TripStack.com, and soon got a couple of offers. The best one is currently at 1,900 usd. I think it's kinda low, but what do u think, should I wait to get a better one or sell it?

Thanks!

    $1900 is awesome value.
Try to use some appraisal service to valuate your domain. Like Estibot.com

May I ask what you paid for that domain?

It's highly unlikely that anyone is offering $1,900 for a domain registered just a few days ago. It's probably the appraisal scam where you agree on the price and then they want you to pay for an appraisal service (that is secretly owned by them). Then they disappear and don't buy the domain.

I'm well aware of such scams, lol.
Not this time, as I know the potential buyer.
      But thanks anyway

Do you have plans to develop a site for the domain or was it just a cool name that you saw and liked? Nothing comes to mind when I hear Trip Stack but I'm old and don't keep up with trends and terms like I used to.

If you think you can put $1900 to work for you better than holding onto the domain name I would sell it.

Sell it immediately. Invest the return.

Frankly, you'll be lucky to get anything out of the name as it doesn't meet the criteria for a premium name unless it is the name of a product or service in wide demand.

Keep the domain name until you have more offers come in. You can earn more money doing this because more people will fight each other to get this domain.

You have two choices. 1) Sell it while you have a buyer NOW and use that money to reinvest in your business, or 2) wait months, or years to find someone willing to pay substantially more (if and when). I recommend going with the sure thing.

I'd sell it now for $1,900. That's a great price for an undeveloped domain name.

Checked archive.org and this domain name was never developed into a site.

In my opinion - this domain is not worth even have of the offered amount. It's either a dodgy offer or they really want /need it. Of course sell it, no one will give you anything close to that. Just put yourself into buyer's shoes, would you pay $1.9K for it? I wouldn't.

      .
Don't just take that offer - _grab it_! It's so unique, I can't imagine anyone else needing it. I'd also be wary that the offer is legit - sounds kinda fishy to me.

BTW - here's a little 'domain-sale-story'. - I sold netbusiness.com to a fellow for $20k. He sold it 2 weeks later to Netscape for $100k. (That was BG - 'Before Google', when Netscape was popular). Oh well, I got it for free when Network Solutions was giving them away.

      I sold WebStreetJournal.com for $5k

I turned down $40k from a French software company for nettraffic.com & later sold it for $10k.

and one I loved - ArchiveVault.com I advertised it a bit and finally sold it for $1k but have always been sure it was worth a lot more.

Like some people have said... SELL IT!

As a domainer, that domain isn't worth $5. Point of correction, it is neither a premium domain.

    Premium is Goal.com, Tv.com Finance.com, America.com. That's it!
