Site-selling question

I have an acoustic guitar niche blog that was supposed to be my husbands but he didn't keep up with the writing so I want to sell it. It's only a couple months old and has 3 posts and 7 scheduled posts (original content). When I did the research for the domain, I was a total newbie, so what I plan on doing is making up a new blog identical to the old one on the new domain.

Here's the website on the old domain: http://www.acousticbeginnersguitar.com

The new domain name will be www.beginneracousticguitar.net and has pretty good numbers.

22,200 broad/12,100 phrase, 51,200 competing sites in quotes, first five PR's of2, 0, 3, 2, -

My question is...how do I decide how to price this? I don't have any idea. I know it has potential for the right buyer but I have no clue how to put a pricetag on it.

    Honestly and this is just me , I would add some more content to it and maybe get it linked a bit more , some PR ect , as doing this would most likely yield you more money selling it. Nice site however and I think someone would buy it just not sure how much.

    It would be worth your time to install a premium theme and get a nice logo, put quite a few more posts in it. Right now it has very high Alexa, a boring theme, no Pagerank, so it would not sell for very much. After getting some more content, submit it to a lot of bookmarking sites to get some traffic and backlinks. You need to add some value to it if you want to get anything for it.

    I would make sure it has at least 25 posts and have some more links coming in before you look into selling it. If you have gone to the effort of putting it together it would seem a waste of time to sell it so soon.

      I'm not really interested in the site... just the domain name actually. But don't even know how much that's worth. I'm looking to start an acoustic site with some friends.

        Since you are so new, I would do some reading before posting too much. This is not even close to spam. Buying and selling websites is a viable method of making money online and asking how to price a website is a legitimate question. It's pretty easy to pick out the spam when you run across it.

    There's no reason you'd be banned because of this thread.

    Just next time, find something useful to contribute instead of claiming that a very old thread is spam, especially when that thread was started by an already-active member of the community.
