clickbank noob questions help..

I have a few question about clickbank.

1) I see in each clickbank product "my stats" flags for differents country. Does this mean

-The product is ONLY avail to promote in this countries?
-The Product is translated in THOSE different languages from "my stats" flags. (landing page, video sales, product itself)

2) If product is avail in different languages, how can i access them, seem to only get to promote products in the english speaking market. (english landing page, video sales etc.).. i know There's a small selections of products in the spanish, portuguese, etc languages. i would prefer a main english product and be able to promote in different languages.

3)In my affilate promote link from clickbank, when someone click on it, they can actually see my username ID from clickbank. It might affect my convertion rate if they notice i'm promoting has an affilate. Any way to cloak this?

Other stuff i can actually research in this great forum. About , traffic source, tracking, building list, sale funnels, email marketing etc.

thanx everyone.

    Hi Eduardmc,

Hopefully I can answer a few of these questions for you. The flags indicate what languages the vendor has translated their product (and most likely their entire funnel) into. There are no limitations on where a product can be promoted from a geographic standpoint, however you should be aware that ClickBank does not do business with customers from select countries as prohibited by United States law. You can certainly promote in a foreign language with any product from the marketplace, but you should be mindful of which vendors offer sales funnels in the same language to maintain a consistent consumer experience.

Some vendors use technology to determine the language preference of the consumer's web browser settings to show a non-english language funnel. Or they may use geo-location detection to determine the point of origin for the consumer and show a funnel that corresponds to that consumer's language and expected currency. I would recommend contacting a vendor who you want to promote through their affiliate tools page (see the link for vendor spotlight if the vendor has one and then click on the affiliate tools link or see the marketplace description as some include the URL in that text).

When you use the promote button to create the hoplink, it will provide you an encrypted or cloaked link. However, there are easy ways to determine your affiliate nickname and most vendor websites will also show the nickname as a parameter on their page once our platform redirects the consumer to the pitch page. There are other methods that you can use to cloak your link (I am certain some of the other members can point you in that direction) but ultimately, the consumer must transit the ClickBank network for you to receive a commission and thus, the hop is detectable.

    I hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    The ClickBank Team

Thanx. You answer most of my question. Only one further question. It seems they use tracking to show the language base sale page or video. Is it possible to use a VPN to get a foreign ip address and see their sales page in such language. Just like we do in CPA offers. Will clickbank ban my username by logging toy account from a foreign ip?

Of course it will raise a flag if you login into Clickbank with an ip from germany and 2 minutes later an ip from Canada !

If you want to look at the web site like if you were in another country, try hidemyass
Once you have selected an IP, just surf to the site (your entire PC will be under the chosen IP) then just disconnect if you need to go into clickbank again
