Call Tracking: Toll Free vs Local Numbers
I am currently setting up a lead generation site for the town I live in. I have just search about 6 or 7 call tracking sites that give you virtual numbers, and have run into an issue.
Out of all of the sites I have searched, none of them have local numbers with my area code. Best I have found is the same area code, but the location is a couple of hours away. I have also found area codes that are from about a half of an hour away from me. The area codes will be recognized by visitors, but these numbers are long distance to anyone in my area.
My question is, do I use one of these numbers for my lead generation site, or do I just go with a toll free number?
