Plugin That Automatically Adds Images To Post When You Click Publish

I've been looking for such plugin a long time already and couldn't find it, it saves a lot of work for my VA's who publish posts on my network.

As I couldn't find it I decided to develop it myself and soon it will be available in the WSO section. There are just a few minor tweaks we have to make as the aligning isn't working properly yet. It's fully functional though.

Just wanted to announce it already, no idea if allowed but well can try right?

You can align left, right and center as well as set it to random, it comes with a hotlinking feature eg <img src=""> format or you can select it to be published as featured image.

It's fully automatic, as soon as you click Publish it will grab an image from the web and publish it, completely hands free. Very useful for auto bloggers and mass posters like myself.

Look nice but I have some questions

Where from it will add images?
My concern is clearly about image license i.e royalty free

How it will add images according to posts?
I mean, will it be able to add images according to our post titles, categories vice versa.

    Thanks

Good questions, initially i told my developers to scrape the images from images.google.com, that's obvious not royalty free, however after my developers told me it would be a bit difficult so they mentioned a free image source, however after some going back and forth it seems they honored my initial request to scrape them from Google.

I will contact them right now to see if we can get an extra option to select the source of images so that you can do it risk free, Personally I'm not that bothered about it as I hotlink the images instead of using the featured image function.

As for your other question, it will use your post title as search query to find the image.

The Squirrly plugin does something like that, but it's a monthly service and I wouldn't recommend using it, see my review: http://stallion-theme.co.uk/squirrly-seo-wordpress-seo-plugin-review/

Does your new plugin just hotlink to the original source (that's what Squirrly does) or add it to the WordPress media library (that's what WPRobot does)?

With hotlinking if the image is deleted you loose your image.,

With scraping there's copyright issues, if you get DMCA complaints your host could take your sites offline with no notice.

In either case if it's automated what if the wrong image is used? Could grab anything, sounds really low quality.

Best SEO way to add images is upload them using the Add media button so they are hosted on your server and you have control over optimizing filenames (that's done offline), sizes, alt text... can use the WordPress built in features to resize etc...

Sounds like you are tying to build an autoblog manually. WPRobot does this so much better and it's automated.

A while ago I wanted to experiment with auto blogging using my own fabricated content, though most of the tools didn't suit my needs to well, eg the image part was missing, not working or it came with other limitations, that was my first thought to develop something for myself.

WP robot sucks on many fronts, but this thread is not made to compare auto blogging scripts

Over time I forgot about auto blogging all together however my VA's post thousands of posts a month on my network, so it would be easy for them not to visit Google to find an image and obvious it reduces costs for me so that's the main reason this plugin is developed. Because it's for a blog network it doesn't really matter much if the wrong image is used or if a image breaks.

You can either hotlink or set it as a featured image (and thus add it to the media library) up to the user really.

So it's useful for three type of people:

      1) Auto bloggers that are fed up with WP Robot style blogging

      2) Blog network owners

      3) Lazy webmasters

Not a huge market I suppose but it's a money saver for myself (main reason I developed it), might make a few additional bucks and it will be a nice freebee to give away with the intention to promote other products / services that I'm about to launch, same like the free guides I'm buidling now.

As for blog network posting scripts, how are you going to select the right category? Build it into the submission tool? Bad idea to have the same categories on 100's of sites. That's why my VA's still do it manually and thus we can make their job a little easier / less expensive
