Website Planning Templates - Software

Hi Guys, i am trying to speed up the admin side of the business to be more efficient & have better & thus accurate control of customers projects.

Can anyone suggest or advise what they use for planning a website? I would prefer software or semi software like a set of digital templates to rinse & repeat to keep the processes at a A grade standard!

Look forward to your replies & or suggestions,

Thanks,

Renee

    Wordpress, Wordpress, WORDPRESS!

When I first got into marketing, I totally ignored it. Until a business partner had me help him install a bunch of Wordpress websites for a product that we were creating.

Now on the side I do some web design and most, if not ALL my clients love Wordpress now. Also, if you do some research you can buy premium themes that can make a Wordpress website look like a $20,000 website.

This is something that you can easily rinse and repeat once you learn what all plugins you want to use with the website as well as themes. Then you bundle them all together with the Wordpress core files, zip. And when you do a fresh install, everything that you need will be there.

    Hope this helps.

Hi Sorry,I mean planning for the websites not actual templates for websites - hope that makes sense. eg': What pages, templates, name address of client, clients budget, basically everything you need to follow to create a website but fully document the process.

      Thanks again,

      Renee

Ahh I see what you're talking about. I know there are a lot of different project software out there but I never seem to need to use any of them. I believe one of my buddies uses https://asana.com/

That looks ok thanks for replying ,however I was hoping there is a custom built one specifically for the project planning side of websites - maybe a warrior has already built one ? I realize that every project is slightly different but I don't want to manually customize the paperwork all the time as automating it will also help keep control & maintain consistency for the client.

What are most warriors using to plan your website ,seo etc projects with?

          Any suggestions would be great

          Thanks,

          Renee

Post it notes and a blank wall have always worked for me because I can rearrange them in any way I want and show internal links with string. Partly I like this because I can see all the relationships between sections and pages at a glance, unlike screen based mind map sorts of things where you have to scroll and then remember how the last screen you were looking relates to what you are looking at now.

Can you show an example please?
I never saw a WP site that looks like 20k$ website.
Usually, it takes me less than a second to see that it's a word press template.

    How about:
    Typical WP
Looks nice and clean, but you can see it right away it's not a custom site.

You are a War Room member so I would check out this free software. It is pretty good for client/project/billing organization.

Client Manager/ Project Manager/ Calendar/ Product Planner/ Report Center and it allows you to track all your interactions with the client.

Edit: I don't have client projects to track so I haven't looked at in a while, but looking at it now it seems exactly what you are looking for.
