Converting a Public Domain PDF??

Hey Folks - I have a public domain pdf I plan to re-purpose with a foreword by myself.

I had a friend look at converting it from PDf to Word but he says it cannot be done as there are a lot of images

Can any one give me any suggestions to how I can convert this and keep the images when it goes to Word?

You picked the wrong friend to give you advice. Of course, it can be done. There are any number of pdf "converters" that will change your document to MSWord.

You will most likely have to go back through the document and fix some minor formatting issues. You can always scan or "capture" the images and then re-insert them into the Word document.

Yes, a little bit of work will be needed . . . but to say "it can't be done" is hogwash.

I've converted tons of PDF's (with lots of images) using some free tools. I obviously don't know the extent of your situation - but you can try out PDF to Word Converter - 100% Free

I've had no problem with it in the past.
