Weight Loss Niche Affiliates/Affiliate Managers

Hey WF,

I'm getting ready to release a product called 'The 4 Minute Body'. It's a weight loss product that teaches people how to melt the fat off their bodies, build some muscle, and increase their energy levels in just 4 minutes a day.

The idea itself should knock it out of the park. I don't think there is anyone who is lazy enough to miss out on a 4 minute weight loss opportunity...

But I need to attract affiliates to promote for me.
Or get an affiliate manager in this niche that has done it before and can do it again.

Where can I find these affiliates or managers?
I'm going to post an ad in the affiliate program database.
I also thought about just emailing out to the existing product creators on Clickbank to see if they'd like to promote to their lists/customer databases.

Just not sure what the best way is to get peoples' attention!

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!

No serious affiliate is going to mail their list based on your opinion that "the idea itself should knock it out of the park".

Once you knock it out of the park yourself, then they might mail for you. Until then, you just have another Tabata pdf on your server.

According to Alex Jeffreys, that is the best way to get affiliates on board when launching. Reaching out to affiliates to get them to promote for you.

Well, with all respect to Alex, you need a proved product that is proven to convert to attract serious affiliates. The only way to get the kind of information is to do an internal launch first. They have to know that your product is good. That people want it. And that they can make money from it.

Once you have a good offer that converts, with proof to back it up. You can use JV Notify, like Alex does, as well as some other JV resources. The thing is, though, is that most of those JV places are heavy MMO products and very few weight loss. But I bet there are some there.

If you want to attract some of the better ClickBank vendors, mail for them first. Make them some money. If you make them enough money, they will know who you are. So when you ask them to mail for you, they may be more willing.

What if you do get affiliates to mail for your and your product doesn't convert? Then you're stuck with a product that doesn't convert, and a bunch of burned affiliates that won't mail for you again. Even when you do fix your offer.

Just having a product that should convert based on the concept is not nearly enough.

      Thanks Drew for the feedback.
Yeah maybe releasing on CB right away isn't the best idea...

I was talking to another WF member and he was saying if it doesn't start out well on CB, then chances are it won't ever do well.

And I definitely don't want to burn any bridges with affiliates.

When you say internal launch, what do you mean exactly?
Should I place some FB ads and do some PPV to see what kind of results I can get before I release it on CB?

What is your niche? I'm looking for something to mail some time in February if you have a female 25-40 weight loss or fitness offer. Especially if it is Tabata based.

It's the weight loss niche and yes it is Tabata based.
It would work perfect for women in the 25-40 age range, but definitely not limited to that.

      Thank you Alexa.
So I need to test this page before releasing on CB I guess!

I spoke with an affiliate about my offer and he thinks I need a video sales letter to compete in the weight loss niche.

I think you need to do more than just "test that page": you need to have proven conversions of targeted traffic before you try to take on affiliates.

Be careful by whose advice you decide to be guided.

Some serious, pro-affiliates (the less-than-5% of affiliates who collectively make more-than-95% of the sales) might not be willing to send their subscriber traffic to a video sales page. I wouldn't, for a start. I don't suggest that that necessarily makes it the wrong thing to do, but it would be something to split-test very carefully and at some length, before deciding to offer one - and I certainly wouldn't let it be the only sales page offered to affiliates, even if you do decide to use one. I'm just saying: be careful by whose advice you decide to be guided.

I am also a follower of alex jeffreys program so it is always nice to see someone who is also following his advice. With regard to your question i have promoted a few products myself and always find that finding the top 1000 affiliate marketers and emailing them to see whether they will promote your product always seems to do the job for me. It can take days going through hundreds of top marketers email address and asking for their support however i found out for every 100 top affiliate marketers i emailed 10 got back and from them 10, 1 or 2 actually emailed my product, and that has generated alot of income for myself. So Phomie try the advice im giving and tell me how you get on
      Thanks zbruney!
Have you just been going through google and collecting affiliates contact info that way?

I'm in the weight loss niche and it's a tough market. What type of testing and marketing have you done so far? You're not going to get any affiliates to promote your product in this niche until you have tested for yourself and can show it is profitable. That being said, the next few months are the best months for the weight loss niche.

who is your target audience? weight loss, yes it is niche, your product/service is good, but you also need to think about your customer. who they are. Targeting them then you'll know what to do to promote

Make some testimonial according to your customer insight, promote on where they often occur
