Greetings Everyone,

How are you? Hope you're fine.

Who among you here are using horizontal optin form or also known as the hellobar optin form? What tool are you using to have it?

Does Leadpages has horizontal optin form?

Does it improve conversion?

Please share your thoughts on this.

Thanks,
G.B

I've seen people use a headline a long the top, with a call to action button. Then it will lead them to a a squeeze page that is congruent to the headline in the hellobar.

Everyone has different traffic sources, so the responses will always vary. I suggest setting it up, and testing it out for yourself. If you contemplate whether it will or whether it won't... at the end of the day, holding things off won't get you results.

    All the best.

It depends a lot on your market and your traffic. There are some markets where people will leave your site simply because you have this installed. And in others people expect to see this.

Using it also depends on what you are doing with your page that it is displayed on. Using a Hello bar or the Leadpages bar or any of those things sends a pretty clear signal that your primary goal is to acquire a visitor's address instead of showing your visitor the content they came to view.

And in some markets this works great because everyone knows that's your goal, and in some peopel might click on it and then exit from the next page or leave simply because you are using it.

If you are in a non-IM type of market, try looking at your competitor's sites and see what they do.
