Why keeping a "contacts" spreadsheet is very important

Greetings Warriors,

I would just like to point out that when I first got into business on my own I kept a spreadsheet of everyone I met, their email address, and their phone number. Anyone I have talked to while selling, buying, trading, or even casual conversation I have saved their information. I send out personalized emails with a subject of "Keeping in touch", "I'm still here for you", "Keep us in mind" and things like that. I now structure the list to where it is timed out. I send 5 emails daily to the people I haven't spoken with in atleast a month or two. So everyday I am reconnecting with my network and producing leads. A new group of 5-10 people every day.

The purpose of this post is just to say REACH OUT to those "dead" leads, the casual conversations, the talk to you laters that never talked later. I choose not to be "salesy" in my emails and just remind the person that I am here, I have my production studio and set, tell them about new stuff, ask them about their interests and hobbies, and things like that.

Today, once again, this paid off and now I have new referrals, new clients, and CHECKS coming in. If I can just help one person to go through their "sent" folder in their emails and find stuff from months to years ago and just pop in to say hi again, then thats what this post is for.

Keep everyone in your books, pop into their life and stay there until you're no longer welcome. It WILL pay off.

Thanks for an awesome forum and please tell your stories similar to mine,

Josh
