This has nothing to do with Keyword research, although keyword research is most crucial for your article. This is a little trick to increase your clickouts: * Most people use a typical line in their article or resource box like "If you want to know more about X visit XYZ" However, you can use a better "call to action" than this, for sure! I have no problems getting articles accepted where i say "According to our tests XYZ is the best product and we highly recommend it if you want to [insert whatever problem solution here]. (For sure beats "if you want to know more about X...") * Resource Box: Don't use a resource box with non relevant information and links like your home page or blog. Every additional link which is not related might decrease your CTR/sales. Use the last two sentences with your recommendations and links in the article body, NOT in the resource box. BAD EXAMPLE: "Michael X. is the owner of someblog.com and anothersite.org as well as xyz.com". Unless you want to build backlinks such is bad, the user wouldn't even know where to click! |

Hi GeorgR I'm a bit confused as someone else in another post has told me to put my links in my bio box and not so much in the article. I have been adding them into my articles, and I have been kicked off two article sites and I don't know if that is why. You have written in your post to put them in the articles, so I'm not sure which way is better to do. Also, would some blog/article sites not kick you off their site and say that was advertising by putting - "According to our tests XYZ is the best product and we highly recommend it if you want to [insert whatever problem solution here]. (For sure beats "if you want to know more about X...")? Maybe I am wrong but I don't really understand why those two blog sites kicked me off their site. Thanks, Kerri |

I'm always researching the different context that people use in their resource box....What I like to do is go to EzineArticles and lookup a niche that I'm interested in. Then, I look at articles for that niche that are "most viewed". Most viewed articles usually consist of articles by article marketers. Sure enough, I find all sorts of effective copy in their resource boxes that I can emulate. I will also click on these author's and check out their other posts....Article espionage at its finest! |

Hi, Putting your contextual links in an article is a very good move. However, not all article directories allow them. As stated above, Ezinearticles is very picky but GoArticles.com allows them. TIP: GoArticles.com is getting better love from Google these days than EzineArticles, without all the waiting to be posted ![]() Jim Furr ><> PS: It never hurts to refer to your bio box link in the last line of your article |

not many people actually realize it but a good creative call to action really helps increasing your conversion rate. Thanks for the tip.

Here are two examples from GoArticles.com: Home Based Entrepreneur: GoArticles.com Online Home Based Business: GoArticles.com And two from EzineArticles.com: Online Home Based Business - Way to Go! Home Based Entrepreneur Notice how I handled the links and bio boxes. Also: Notice all the distractions on EA and how clean looking the layout is at GA. Jim Furr ><> |

Affsphere is a PR2 article directory, and they are very affiliate friendly. Put those links in your article wherever you want. With ezine articles, the author resource box is not separate from the article body, so I put my last 2 or 3 paragraphs in that area. Links are ok there, and you can get them higher up than the last paragraph without getting in trouble that way. |

Many might disagree with me here, but Ezine gives you a LOT of words that can be used in the resource box. This to me is where you do your .."Soft selling" ..and make it look just like its part of the article. Just an idea that might be helpful...USE as much of the resource box as is allowed Only my opinion Gary Earle |
