Google Analytics vs Hostgator "analytics"

I would like to know what is more accurate, I started a blog 1 week ago. And Google Analytics is showing me around 200 users/uniques visitors, but hostgator is showing me more than 400 unique visitors. So now I am confused, what should I use.

My vote also goes to Google analytics for precise and accurate data.

Hostgator hosting shouldn't even exists, let alone their analytics. Go with google for now.

When I first got into this, I was told that Google analytics was the way to go. I think's because HG internal analytics display all the bots and stuff that hit your site, and it counts those as unique visitors when they really aren't (or something like that).

While I strongly believe, whatever made by google is not best. But, who can ignore the massive data network from google.

There is opinion that GA counts only "real" people, sifting bot's and proxy's users, while GH may be showing you all together
