A bit stumped - any ideas for getting JV partners?

Does anyone have any good advice or secrets for gathering JV partners for non-make-money-online websites. I know about JV Pro but this seems to cater to the make-money-online crowd only.

Any resources out there that match up online marketers with similar niches?

Any help would be appreciated.

    If you're looking to 'gather JV partners', you may simply be looking for affiliates ...

    A few of my clients have mentioned aBestweb Forum advertising - abestweb.com/advertising/ - as a worthwhile option, though I've never had reason to use them myself ... so I can't vouch for it.

    BTW ... JV Notify Pro isn't simply for the make money Online crowd ... there are many partners that specialize in niches like Health & Wellness, Finance, Real Estate, and others.

    Unfortunately ... being it's a Joint Venture community where partners prove themselves, gain credibility, and get to know each other one at a time in an attempt to establish and nurture ongoing relationships of mutual benefit ... there is no specific area to 'gather' those representing specific niches.

    I do apologize that there are no individual categories for popular niches as of yet, but it's being worked on ... and will be included when we upgrade later this year.

    You may also want to check out this forums Joint Venture section, if you've not already done so ... though I'm assuming the JV Marketing pros that frequent that section will be looking for relationships comparable to the one aforementioned.

        Last month, Paul Myers published an article in his Talkbiz News newsletter regarding methods for obtaining JVs. I think you'll find the principles apply to most niches.

            Solid referral, Frank ... if there is anyone in this forum that I'd recommend following with a pad and pencil, it's Paul.

            One thing regarding going after JV partners in niches other than general Internet Marketing ... take into consideration that IMers are jaded in regards to the endorsed mailing variety of JV you speak of. Potential JV partners in other niches may not be as receptive ... which is why I recommend courting them one at a time, with 'what's in it for them' at the absolute forefront.

            Try using Google and Alexa to find strong performers in the niche you wish to target ... once you find them, join their forums, newsletters, even consider promoting a product via their affiliate program (if they have one) first ... taking the first step may make the difference when you approach them to support your launch. The idea is to get to know them before you reach out for support.

            The problem with most merchants interested in JV Marketing today is that they're goal is to bring on as many 'JV Partners' as possible when they are ready to launch a product ... when they should be working on JV relationships all the time, one at a time, instead of pressuring folks they don't even know at the last minute. Make sure your house is in order, and take the time to do it right. You'll be glad in the long run.
