If you didn't know, Microsoft is giving away free legit windows 7 copies and registration codes good until March 1st 2010 I just downloaded my copy - you can get yours here if you need it http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win.../download.aspx Hope this helps a few |

Boy, I would be very hesitant to load a new MS operating system - especially one that will expire in March of next year. And I'll bet it runs as slow as Vista. _____ Bruce |

Thanks, I just downloaded it. It took 3 tries but I finally go it. I'm going to load in on my Macbook and see how it behaves with Fusion. It is sooooo nice to be able to try different operating systems without putting your data & stuff at risk.

I got it up and running no problem at all. It looks really good and it is fast on my Macbook. IE8 looks really nice too. I might have to buy it when the beta expires.

Why does everyone want to be unpaid beta testers for Microsoft? They will force you to get a new OS in March and they don't even give you a free copy of the real thing for your trouble? Steve |

Me too. I had everything tweaked perfectly in XP. I've had nothing but trouble since I upgraded to Vista. Actually went back to XP. Not really interested right now in trying out anything new Microsoft has to offer.
