Secrets to high conversion rates and easy commissions

I want to share with you a simple strategy for obtaining huge conversion rates and making easy affiliate commissions. I'll keep this short and to the point.

A lot of people create a website and then look at getting as much traffic as they can with the aim of converting a percentage of that traffic into sales. Problem is around 95% or more of those visitors will leave without buying anything. They will click, have a look around….and then leave.

Why would such a high number of visitors leave? Because their intention was never to buy when they landed on the site. Too many people think in terms of “traffic” without giving much thought to exactly what kind of visitor they want and what that visitor is doing before they get to your site.

There is a way to get almost everyone who arrives at your site to make a purchase and it’s actually very easy.

What you want are visitors coming to your website who are in the process of buying a product online and have them complete their transaction via your affiliate link or by entering your unique code.

Here's the secret.

The way to do this is to create pages using [brand name] + [promo code] + [month] + [year] phrases.

These type of phrases can have next to no competition in the search engine results, yet have they excellent conversion rates. My first ever commission doing this was for £100 and I believe I had a massive 3 visitors before that sale popped up.

I'll give you a quick example of how this works.

Let’s say it’s November 2014 and someone is in the process of buying an item of clothing (or several items) at Forever21 which is a popular online clothing store. They add the items they want to buy to their shopping cart and get to the checkout when they see a promotion code field.

So they open another window and do a search for say forever 21 promo code november 2014 or a variant of that phrase to see if they can find a code to enter so they can get money off.

Google Instant reveals these low competition terms

Play around with different letters/words and you’ll uncover plenty more of them.

If you want you can replace "promo codes" with: promotion codes, promotional codes,
coupon codes, voucher codes or discount codes. Make sure you have all those words on your page to capture extra traffic.

Very little, if any backlinks are needed to rank on page 1 of Google/Yahoo/Bing. This works very well with Youtube videos too. Have the keyword phrase as the title and your promo code link (or if you have a unique code you don't need a link). Place it in the Youtube description field.

Once they enter the code they complete the sale and you receive your commission. Every single visitor coming to your site is a buyer.

You're spot on it can be scaled. It's one of the easiest ways of generating affiliate commissions. Some affiliate networks may not have promo codes but instead they have 10% off, 15% off etc. links you can use. People love to save money!

My business model is based on this and it does work, although more difficult to scale up.
