Default delicious tag syntax question

Hey guys... this has been bugging me:

What is the proper or most useful method of multiple keywords/ tags with delicious?

I know most use comma deliminated, others use quotation marks to combine keyword phrases, technorati requires a plus sign, propeller insists on an underscore to combine them.

I've read a report to the effect of technorati ignores 3 tag combinations (can't verify that)

what is the best practice for space separated social bookmarking sites?

for now I've been using this snytax:

commercial-cleaning
and
commercialcleaning

(I'm pitching a janitorial client at the moment)

does anyone know what the definitive usage is for delicious?

thanks
