Made my blog, set up social media, WHAT NOW?

Hi, posting another thread as i have found this forum EXTREMLEY helpful.

Okay so this is what I have done so far.

Set up my new blog, and made a few posts in the 5 or so day's I have had it.

Made an ebook as a reward for people subscribing.

Set up all forms of social media, facebook, twitter, instagram.

Set up aweber, email marketing tool.

Paid for some exposure on facebook, (getting lots of likes but barely any clicks to site)

So...What now?

I guess the next stage is i'd really like to start boosting up my traffic. Any tips on what i can do there. I'm 100% new and this is the first time I have done anything like this so simple terms please.

the site is Cricket Chump - For all you chumps who love your cricket!

thanks for the help!

Have you joined any Cricket groups on Social sites or forums to get followers ar let people (Cricketeers) know about your site? Start with Facebook for those groups. Join and make helpful post in those groups with a link saying "learn more" or "check out my Cricket News blog at...."

It is a slow process UNLESS you go with paid ads.

This is the kind of stuff you should plan before building the site. But if your just going to wing it, or maybe its your first time and your going with the flow then you need to find strategies that fit your business model.

Maybe start with a blog to get some targeted organic traffic?

    Here I list my opinions:

    1. You can participate in cricket forum. Create a value post or thread in there. Put your website address in your signature.

    2. Create youtube channel, where you give rant, comments, updates, news, matches, tutorial, trainings or whatever it maybe in that sport.

    3. Create more post, targeting the right keywords, so that it would rank higher in Google. Better to look for long-tail keyword or local since cricket is already a high competitive niche.

    4. Have extra money? You can use Adwords or Bing Ads. - This may boost your website awareness.

Hope this helps, let me know what you think.
