I was hoping to find some help here from experienced users of this product. I think I am utilizing MNF just fine, but I want to be sure I am not missing anything of value. For example, What are the optimal number combinations for search count, exact phrase match, and SOC, and how much weight do you give OCI? Any other strategies like digging down or combining with other tools for more keyword creativity? Yes, I have watched all the videos - I am looking for advanced user tips here. Thanks in advance. |

I have found that search volumes > 2000 with competition of < 20K = easy first page ranking, unless the kwd phrase is only 2 words, or the words are very common. For example, the phrase "hot online car deals" in quotes returns ZERO results. Sounds like there's no competition for that phrase, right? But in reality, people don't search in quotes very often...and if you put in hot online car deals without quotes, you get 72 Million results. ![]() So...if the words are too common, even if the competition is low, it might be tough to get ranking. The only time I'd try something like that was if the search volume for that phrase was through the roof...then MAYBE some people would be searching with quotes. But, generally, I use the 2k:20k search:result ratio. (or better...ie: 3600:9000 would be better) BTW - to avoid the problem mentioned above, stick to long-tail phrases. That's just my $.02...not that I'm an expert. It's just what I've had luck with. |

Ghalt - Thank you for that description of search parameters. I think if a person can get the best keywords, success is pretty much in the bag. Thanks again. AW888 |

Thanks G. Now lets say you find a keyword like that 2K:20K or better, do you find LSI words that are also good ratio, or do you use anything related to support your main keyword? Also do you target several keywords at the same time in the same blog? Muct they all have good ratios? I have also noticed in some searched where the exact phrase count is in the millions, but the SOC is still favorable - are those numbers misleading? |

TBH, I don't use the LSI tool. Depends on what you're doing for your blog. If your blog is all about the same topic, it makes sense to me to use a few different 'good-ratio' kwd phrases as blog topics. But, IMO I like to have user-friendly topics. A blog with 10 recent posts each named something like "Hot Online Car Deals" "Hot Online Car Discounts" and "Hottest Online Car Deals" would be a pretty poor user experience. |

If you guys are planning to build one blog/site, how many keywords from microniche do you use? Is there a minimum amount of searches you target?
