The Art of a Monster ClickBank Launch

Hello Warriors,

I want to get everyone's opinion on the art of a monster Clickbank launch.

I am planning to launch my 1st product (an ebook in the investment niche. Not sure on price point yet I'm going to run it on pcc before I launch it and see what price it converts at best ie $29, $39, $49 etc...I suspect its $39)

I plan to launch in the next few months and my goal for this 1st launch is not to make money but to learn the art of a monster Clickbank/Jvzoo launch.

Let's assume my ebook is brilliantly written and the website is catchy and professionally presented with wining copy and an awesome jv page that includes all materials affiliates need to promote the product. Let's say refunds are low for this high EPC product and I am offering 100% commission payout and giving away several thousand dollars in instant cash prizes during the launch.

Besides what you see above what could I do or offer to ensure a successful launch? I want to learn and I want to meet people who can guide me to success.

Thanks Warriors!

If you really are serious about having a monster launch, you will line up all your affiliates ahead of the launch. You will be sure to have the super affiliates with huge lists ready to go.

In addition, you will have a professional sales letter written by one of the best copywriters available who knows how to make the sale.

    Good luck,

Yes it all depends on affliates, so make sure to contact them before and you offer them a good deal. It's well worth it to offer up to 75% commissions if they can bring in a lot of sales, these are sales you probably wouldn't have otherwise.

      Hi JensSteyaert,

Thanks for your advice. Yes I was planning to offer 100% commission payout to make it super attractive to affiliates and give away prizes.

    It's a catch 22.

You'll likely have a hard time getting major league affiliates - with responsive lists... if you don't have conversion data.

The copy can be amazing. The presentation, including a kick butt sales letter and/or video, might be out of this world awesome...

But getting affiliates to jump on-baord can be easier said than done (if you're not already in the circle jerk.)

    My advice?

Test the heck out of your copy, especially on cold traffic.

    Get some stats.

If it converts, approach the big affiliates with exact numbers.

    Or...

    Get a JV manager.

      Hi Mark,

Thanks, great advice. Yeah I plan to use a diff payment processor initially and test the hell out of it on diff types of traffic. Also testing at which price points it converts at best etc.

Then I will create professional sales letter and approach all pro affiliates with the conversion data. I would love to hire a jv manager but probably difficult to find a good one at a decent price? or without giving up too much on the back end. The other concern is that if I rely on jv manager to do the launch I won’t have the opportunity to properly learn it for myself.

In any case I think it all comes back to having a good product that sells and converts at higher EPC then the competition in your niche and then developing data to prove that and putting it in front of the major league affiliates as you say. If your product is new fresh and exciting and sells better than everything else in the niche then it stands to reason that affiliates would want to promote it.

Let me say first off. Hold off.

You're not ready. Know how I know this?

Your plan was okay with the 100% commission etc. and you would be able to build a list
    of all buyers..good stuff.

    but,

you're missing the #1 biggest thing that will literally turn this launch from being:

kinda okay>>> to super profitable beyond what you expected.

profit maxamizers, you need up-sells and cross-sells and (ideally) a high ticket program in place.

If i were you I would also test $47 product price. I bet it beats out the rest of the tests.

Ideally (if you were smart) you would add a $97 up-sell, $297/$997 Done 4-U product based off your core product, lastly a continuity program.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If I were to literally create this launch for you, this is how it would go:

Step One: Creations of the products in your sales funnel.

    $47 Core Product> $97 up-sell> $1 Trial for membership program [$47 monthly] >$997 Done 4-U

Step Two: Create all the sales pages (highly recommend VSL's) and payment processing and what not.

Step Three: Create your autoresponder series of emails. At the least have 30 in your account ready to deploy.

Step Four: Speak to some "super affiliates" and tell them the conditions of promoting your product. [Look below to find out how to get them to promote YOURS OVER OTHERS]

Step Five: Get your product accepted in ClickBank or whatever [ I don't know what the process is, I've never done it]

This was a black and white quick guide so I probably missed some imp. steps.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Lastly, three things:

    1) Your post above said "Yes I was planning to offer 100% commission payout to make it super attractive to affiliates and give away prizes.

That's funny because that won't make it attractive to super affiliates. 100% commission on front end products and prizes and give away's have been around FOR YEARS.

You need to give away 100% commission on front end products AND I would do something like 50% commission on the: $97, $1 membership, and $997 product.

Yes you heard that correct. This will actually get you those so-called "super affiliates" and the guys
who can actually bring you sales and a buyer list which you can promote to until the end of eternity.

If I were trying to attract super affiliates I would have the same sales funnel as mentioned above but give 100% ON EVERYTHING.

You know why? Because they will drive THOUSANDS of BUYERS into YOUR list in which you can
market to and get sales from for as long as you want.

Cause you know what I bet you will still get affiliates who will get you a couple hundred sales or whatever and yeah you probably made some money because you kept commission on your back-end sales and you will have a couple hundred buyers on your list.

Honestly I would rather break even or even lose a little money and have thousands of buyers on my list whom I can immediately keep as a golden source of revenue for the future.

    2) I hate the fact you names this thread "The Art of a Monster ClickBank Launch"

You knew what you were doing when you named the thread that, to draw people in acting like YOU were going to tell people how but instead you are asking "HOW" lol....

    3) The advice I have given you is worth MORE than what you get these days from most people's PAID content.

Take what I have said and run....don't forget to IMPLEMENT it

TakenAction just laid out everything perfectly. My only suggestion would be to also have a JV contest. Make sure to add your launch to the launch sites like muncheye.com and facebook groups for launches.

Personally reach out to people for possible joint ventures. Add your information to jvnotify.com. Create a great joint venture page with everything people need to promote your product.

          Hello TakenAction,

Thank you very much! I am currently focused on Step One: Creations of the product and I see this step as one of the most important because if the product is not solid to begin with everything else will not fall into place no matter how great the launch is etc.

So I am taking my time through the holidays and making a point of thinking about it a bit every day. Coming up with something that is original, exciting and better than anything else in the niche is not easy but it is possible. Again thank you so much for taking the time to write such a great answer. As Jason said you just laid out everything perfectly.
